Made with a hint of Viognier. Totally opaque black dark red core with a vibrant dark red hue. The subtlety scented nose has aromas of dark plum, liquorice and a faint whiff of apricot over vanillin cedar and spicy fennel. Rich dark plum, liquorice and blackberry flavours have a silky feel. Traces of apricot, smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and spice make an appearance on the back palate. Well integrated velvet smooth tannins. Excellent length with a long slippery textured aftertaste.
