2016 Woody Nook Single Vineyard Cabernet Merlot

A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe red to black currant and mulberry have a dusty cedar overlay with notions of black olive and spicy herbs also present. Medium bodied flavours of mulberry and red currant show good freshness. Dusty vanillin cedar, dried herb and spice elements ensue on the back half. Slightly dryish tannins, concluding with a medium length aftertaste.
