2016 Woodlands Wilyabrup Valley Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lifted white peach and nectarine aromas are coated with dried honey characters followed by hints of gun flint, citrusy nougat and faint spice. Rich white peach and nectarine flavours intermixed with dried honey fill the medium bodied palate underscored by nuances of light cashew, citrusy nougat and spice. A vibrant finish counterpoints the fullish textural feel. Excellent depth concluding with a long aftertaste of white peaches, nectarines, dried honey infusions, subtle cashew and citrusy nougat.
