Matured in French oak with fruit sourced from Margaret River and Frankland River. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals ripe red to blackcurrant and mulberry notes over spicy vanillin cedar and light bay leaf. Medium to full bodied the palate has ripe blackcurrant flavours sitting over toasty vanillin cedar, earth and spicy herbs. Drying tannins cut the finish short.
