2016 Whistler Get in My Belly Grenache

Aged in old oak for 6 months. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a vibrant crimson purple hue. Showing a perfumed like intensity the nose dispels aromas of ripe red raspberries, juicy red cherries and a hint of liquorice followed by some Turkish delight, confectionary and subtle spicy cedar. Light in body the succulent palate is awash with vibrant red raspberries, red cherries and red plums which overlay traces of liquorice, Turkish delight and confectionary. Finishes with fresh acidity and velvety tannins. Very moreish aftertaste of red raspberries, cherries, plum, a touch of Turkish delight and confectionary. Delicious.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
