A seamless Cabernet Merlot blend that’s a no brainer in the value for money stakes.

Sourced primarily from the Mt Barker region with a small addition of Frankland River fruit this excellent value is comprised of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. An inviting nose of red to black currant and mulberry fruit also sees cedary tobacco characters, hints of spicy black olive, earth and bay leaf chiming in. Medium bodied with ample richness yet remaining true to the varieties elegant virtues, the palate possesses generous ripe red currant and mulberry flavours which meld seamlessly into cedary tobacco characters, bay leaf and spice. Beautifully polished tannins. Medium to long conclusion of spiced ripe red currants, mulberries, cedary tobacco characters and subtle bay leaf.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
The tannin has a finesse to it, the fruit is buoyant, and the finish is juicy and generous. We're into excellent value territory again here. Redcurrant, loganberry and black cherry flavours swoosh through the palate, spice and peppercorn notes but minor contributors. No brainer. Drink by 2025.
