2016 Two Hands Max's Garden Heathcote Shiraz

The Two Hands Garden Series collection aims to highlight six of the finest Shiraz growing regions in Australia. The 2016 Max’s Garden is an exemplary example of Heathcote Shiraz.

Superb colour displaying a totally impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Sailing from the glass are intense aromatics of ripe black cherries, blackberries and liquorice which overlay infusions of fennel, crushed rock, subtlety smoked vanillin cedar and light pepper. Decadently rich, opulent ripe black cherry, blackberry and liquorice flavours saturate the mouth over a back drop of crushed rock like elements, vanillin cedar and spicy pepper. Dry inky finish with bright youthful acidity working tandem with sturdy, robust tannins to provide an excellent framework for the longer term. Outstanding power with a very long blackberry, ripe black cherry, liquorice, crushed rock, vanillin cedar and spicy pepper aftertaste.
