2016 Trevelen Farm Estate Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with greenish flecks around the edges and a watery hue. Elevated ripe nectarine and citrus scents intermix with honeysuckle and bees wax followed by lemon butter end notes. Round, creamy textured palate with rich peach and ripe nectarine flavours laced with honeycomb overlaying subtle cashew, toast and spice nuances. Finishes dry with good balancing acidity and a long aftertaste of ripe peaches, honeycomb, light toast, cashew and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
