Midnight black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. An alluring combination of blackcurrant and mint aromas morph into vanillin cedar, subtle tobacco, earth and bay leaf notes. Medium bodied with a fleshy yet chewy feel, the palate sports a blackcurrant and mint flavour profile with elements of vanillin cedar, subtle earthy tobacco and spicy bay leaf on the back half. Finishes with good freshness and dry, slightly grippy tannins and an elegant medium length aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.

Other Reviews….
50% cabernet, 25% petit verdot, 17% malbec, 8% merlot. Lifestyles of the rich and sturdy. This is a red wine with a keen sense of authority, its blackcurrant and malt notes infused with violet, peppermint and fresh leather. It's as svelte as it is powerful; it's full-bodied but plush. Tannin doesn't step on the fruit's toes, and there's plenty to see this through to a long life. Drink by 2040.
