2016 Thistledown Gorgeous Grenache

Semi translucent dark red colour with a bright light red hue. Fragrant aromas of ripe dark raspberries tinged with violets and liquorice emanate from the glass over confectionary with spice end notes. Ripe and juicy the palate is filled with rich dark raspberry and liquorice flavours which have an expansive feel across the mouth. Also evident are nuances of plum, confectionary and spice. Supple mouthfeel and silky smooth tannins finishing with a long, lightly spiced juicy dark raspberry, plum, liquorice and confectionary aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
