Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Spicy red to black currant and liquorice aromas mix with earthy black olive, dried herb, vanillin cedar and graphite like notes. Rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruits are framed by a robust tannin structure which imparts a muscular feel across the back half. Dried herb, earthy graphite, black olive and spicy vanillin cedar elements lie underneath. The long, stern yet deeply fruited finish carrying a graphite edge.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Very floral, showing roses and lavender bush. Dark fruit, as well. Full-bodied, round yet reserved with very finely grained tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Always in finesse. Drink or hold.
