2016 Tenuta Montanello Langhe Nebbiolo

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Pretty aromatics of Roses, cherries, subtle red currants and raspberries meld into iron earth like elements and light spicy herbs. Delicious ripe cherry, raspberry and strawberry flavours are backed by firm ironstone like tannins with subtle earthy tobacco and dried herbs the back drop. Finishes dry with bright fresh acidity and grippy tannins that give the back palate a chalky feel. Aftertaste of spicy ripe cherries, strawberries, earthy ironstone like characters and dried herbs.
