2016 Tahbilk Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque dark red black core with a dark red hue. Elevated ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas tinged with a hint of black olive are followed by cigar box, subtle dried herbs and spicy earth. Medium bodied the palate possesses generous ripe blackcurrant fruit over a back drop of some liquorice, light cigar box, earthy dried herbs and spice. Refined smooth mid palate feel with perfectly integrated finely grained tannins. Excellent length with a blackcurrant, subtle liquorice, cigar box, earthy black olive and faint spicy bay leaf aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
