Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Lifted top notes of blackcurrant and subtle liquorice melds into vanillin cedar, light earth and spice. Very ripe and juicy the amply weighted palate features rich blackcurrant, dark plum and liquorice flavours over spicy vanillin cedar and a touch of earth. Firms up on the back palate with ripe chewy tannins imparting some grip. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, liquorice, earthy tobacco and spicy vanillin cedar.
