Totally opaque dark purple black colour with a deep bright dark purple hue. Freshly crushed blackberry and inky dark cherry aromas combine with liquorice over some earthy incense like notes and spice. Medium to full bodied the exuberantly youthful palate dishes up juicy flavours of blackberries and liquorice over some inky earth characters and spice. Fleshy mid palate with bright acidity and a dryish finish. Slightly chalky tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of inky blackberries, liquorice, subtle earth and spice. Vibrant and full of juicy fruit this is an excellent everyday quaffer.
