A blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Cabernet Franc and 26% Merlot. Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose exudes red to black currant, mulberry, black olive and tobacco scents followed by dusty cedar and spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied, elegant red to black currant and mulberry fruits meld into black olive, earthy tobacco, bay leaf and spicy cedar characters. Finishes slightly chalky with fine grained tannins and a medium length aftertaste.

This estate-grown blend comes together with deceptively easy harmony. It's already a complete wine, with an almost velvety flow. Fruit of this quality doesn't need oak or tannins to fill holes or paper over the cracks, so I'm not stressing about having no knowledge of the oak treatment. Drink by 2036.
