A grippy, mid weighted Chianti with a dry, rustic finish.
Sourced from the estates oldest vineyards with ageing taking place in small oak barrels for a period of 24 months. Very deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Uplifted aromas of blackcurrant, liquorice and earth are intermeshed with tobacco, dusty cedar, dried herbs and spicy leather. Mid weighted, blackcurrant and dark cherry fruits are framed by a sturdy tannin structure. Notions of earth, leather, old cedar, tobacco and spice extend across the back half. Grippy feel with a dry, rustic finish.
