Impenetrable black core with a deep dark red black hue. Heady aromas of black plums, chocolate bullets, aniseed, spicy vanillin oak and faint whiff of varnish are dispensed by the nose. Rich and voluptuously textured the dense full bodied palate is awash with aniseed, black plum and black cherries underpinned by toasty vanillin oak and spice. Plush, silky smooth tannins. Long powerful finish of aniseed, lush black fruits, vanillin oak and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
