2016 Scorpo Pinot Gris

Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted ripe pear and spicy red apple aromas meld into some dried honey notes which are underscored by notions of citrus and quince. Texturally full and rich the palate is engulfed with ripe pear, baked apple and dried honey flavours followed by some quince. Finishes dry and very spicy with good balanced fresh acidity. Long ripe pear, baked apple, dried honey, subtle quince and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
