Matured in French oak barrels. Totally opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant infused with black olives intermingle with mulberries, cedary tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs. Medium bodied the palate is elegantly flavoured with red and blackcurrant flavours over some mulberry, cedary tobacco infusions, black olive and spicy bay leaf. Dryish finish with sturdy fine grained tannins providing an excellent framework. Concludes with red and blackcurrant, mulberries, cedary tobacco characters and spicy bay leaf.
