2016 Rolf Binder Shiraz

Impressive depth displaying an inky black dark purple coloured core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. A youthful but intensely scented nose of dark plums, freshly crushed blackberries, blueberries and liquorice rises out of the glass over spicy vanillin cedar. The palate is a concentrated essence of freshly crushed dark fruits that includes plum, blackberries, liquorice and traces of blueberries underpinned by vanillin cedar and spice. Bright youthful finish with finely grained, velvet like tannins. Long opulent and fresh conclusion of dark plums, liquorice, blackberries, inky dark chocolate and spicy vanillin cedar. A rich supple Shiraz with a youthful energy.
