Cellar: Drink now - 6 Years (2021-2027)
ABV: 14.5%

Matured in 75% new American oak and 25% new French oak barrels for 22 months. Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Potent liquorice, dark plum and black cherry scents jump out of the glass followed by vanillin oak, mocha, hints of scorched earth and subtle spicy new leather notes. Rich and exuberant, the palate is awash with liquorice, dark plum and black cherry fruits which are underpinned by bright acidity. Vanillin oak, earth, leather and spice nuances move in on the back half. Concentrated and powerful with firm, sturdy tannins backing the fruit. Concludes long, rich and surprisingly vibrant.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 14.5%

Other Reviews……
Amazing red-noir hue; waves of flavour, rich fruit doused in spices, licorice and oak spices too, but everything in its place. Full-bodied, decisive tannins and impressive. A wine by design as much as place.
