2016 Rockbare Tideway Grenache

Semi translucent bright purple red colour with a crimson purple hue. Freshly scented aromas of red raspberries, ripe dark cherries and plum juice emanate from the glass followed by hints of liquorice and confectionary. Vibrant with light to medium body the palates juicy flavours of raspberries, ripe cherries and plum have a fresh yet restrained feel with some inky liquorice and spice nuances also present on the dryish finish. Crunchy acidity and finely grained tannins with an aftertaste of dark raspberries, plums, some inkiness, subtle liquorice and spice.
