In the early 1990’s Robert Oatley released the Rosemount GSM. This was the first wine to be labelled using the GSM acronym – it’s soft round texture and rich succulent fruit proved a huge hit with the drinking public and today the same GSM acronym is used widely throughout the industry.

A blend of 43% Grenache, 35% Shiraz and 22% Mourvedre matured in French oak for 6 months. Very deep bright dark red black colour with a vibrant purple red hue. Dark raspberry, plum and liquorice aromas ooze from the glass overlaid by some incense, vanillin cedar, light earth and spice. Rich succulently textured flavours of ripe dark raspberries, blueberries and liquorice flavours fill the mouth over vanillin cedar, traces of earth and spice. Slightly dryish finish with velvety tannins. Excellent length with a long delicious aftertaste of spicy dark raspberries, ripe blueberries, liquorice, vanillin cedar and light earth.
Cellar 4-5 years.
Alc 14%
