Totally opaque dark red colour with black tinged edgings and a dark red hue. Scents of violets, dark cherries, strawberries and fresh herbs flow through the nostrils followed by hints of anise, earth and spicy cedar. Light to medium bodied, generous dark cherry and anise flavours have an earthy underbelly with infusions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar also present. Dryish finish with sturdy, muscular like tannins providing plenty of structure but also compressing the aftertaste a touch.
