2016 Reillys Dry Land Sangiovese
Blended with a 10% Cabernet Sauvignon component and matured for 22 months in French oak. Totally opaque dark red black colour with a very dark red hue. Spicy dark cherry aromas mix with earth, dried herbs and tobacco. Rich dark to black cherry fruits overlay earth, dried herb and spicy tobacco characters. Dryish finish with chalky tannins imparting a grippy feel onto the rustic aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
