2016 Reillys Dry Land Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 2 years in French oak. Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep black dark red hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant, black olive and liquorice aromas mix with cigar box, earth and hints of eucalypt. Dense, rich and brooding the palate is awash with opulent blackcurrant and liquorice fruits which are underscored by infusions of eucalypt, toasty cedar and spicy tobacco. Chewy mouthfeel with firm tannins imposing some grip onto the medium to long finish.
Cellar 5-6 years.
