2016 Quealy Pinot Noir

Matured for 15 months in a mixture of large and small French oak. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a light crimson red hue. Fragrant aromatics of violets, ripe dark cherries, strawberries and traces of anise blossom from the glass followed by vanillin cedar and light spicy herbs. Combining suppleness and savouriness the delicious palate is filled with ripe cherries and strawberries over subtle vanillin cedar, light earth and spice. Excellent power wave and slippery tannins with a long conclusion of dark cherries, strawberries, vanillin cedar, faint meaty earth characters and spice.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
