2016 Pinga Tempranillo et al

Includes a small portion of Shiraz. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Black cherry aromatics intermix with some liquorice, meaty earth like notes, leather, vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied with rich black cherry and liquorice flavours forming a dense core over a back drop of subtle leather, earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Slightly chewy tannins provide some muscle. Good length with a medium to long aftertaste of ripe black cherries, liquorice, subtlety earthed vanillin cedar and spicy leather.
