Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice and dark plum are overlaid by toasty vanillin cedar, earthy mint and spice. Rich plush dark plum, mint and liquorice flavours are overlaid by charry vanillin oak, earth and spice characters on the back palate. Velvet like tannins have a sturdy underbelly providing the wine with structure. Medium length aftertaste.
