2016 Petaluma White Label Pinot Gris

Fermented in new and older French oak (56%) with the balance in stainless steel tanks. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted ripe pear aromas dominate the nose with notes of Jonathan apple, honeysuckle, faint musk and spice also present. The palate has a youthful freshness with flavours of ripe pears, apples, hints of honeysuckle and spicy citrus. Clean dry finish with lively acidity. Aftertaste of ripe pears, Jonathan apples, some honeysuckle, subtle musk infusions and citrus.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
