2016 Pertaringa Undercover Shiraz

Totally opaque midnight black core with a deep bright dark red black hue. Pronounced black cherry, blackberry and liquorice aromas overlay toasty vanillin cedar, subtle notions of black olive and blackpepper. Rich luscious black cherry and liquorice flavours intermingle with some ripe blackberries underpinned by infusions of graphite and toasty cedar with a very prominent blackpepper finish. Tight grippy feel on the back palate with a robust framework of tannins and well balanced acidity carrying the fruit well. Long black cherry, liquorice, subtle graphite and blackpepper aftertaste.
