Superb colour displaying an impenetrable midnight black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Ripe fruit aromatics of blackberries, liquorice and dark plum sail through the nostrils with some vanillin cedar, light tobacco and spice also present. Medium to full bodied with an opulent feel, rich blackberry, blackcurrant and liquorice flavours dominate over vanillin cedar and spice. Velvety tannins have a sturdy underbelly. Aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, blackcurrant and spicy vanillin cedar.
