Matured in new American and French oak for 28 months. Midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lofty liquorice, blackberry and dark plum scents mix with a significant dose of toasty vanillin oak, mocha and spice. Rich and lush the full bodied palate is flooded with liquorice, blackberry and mocha flavours. Vanillin oak, subtle scorched earth and spice characters lie underneath. Velvety yet well constructed tannins with a long powerful finish.
