2016 Parker Coonawarra Estate Interloper Cabernet Malbec

Opaque dark red black tinged core with a dark red hue. Ripe red currant and mulberry scents laced with a hint of bay leaf are trailed by dusty vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied the palate is flush with ripe red currant and mulberry fruits which overlay cedary tobacco characters and subtle infusions of bay leaf. Spicy, slightly dryish finish with sturdy but fine grained tannins. Good depth with a medium length aftertaste.
