2016 Palacios Remondo La Vendimia

A 50:50 blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo matured in oak barrels for just 4 months. Totally opaque vibrant dark red black colour with a bright purple red hue. Elevated black cherry and liquorice scents overlay infusions of earthy incense characters, some light scorched notes and spicy herbs. Fresh, juicy and energetic the palate is filled with ripe dark to black cherry and liquorice flavours which sit atop inky earth, infusions of incense, scorched characters and spicy herbs. Finishes with lively youthful acidity, fine grained velvet like tannins and a long juicy dark to black cherry, liquorice, earthy incense infusions, some scorched characters and spice aftertaste.
Delicious drinking over the next 4-5 years.
