Matured in a mix of old and new oak barrels for 18 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted aniseed and dark plum aromas mix with smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth notes. Rich, fleshy aniseed and dark plum fruits overlay toasty oak, scorched earth and peppered fennel characters. Polished tannins with a plush medium to long aftertaste.
