2016 Murdoch Hill Syrah

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of plum and liquorice are overlaid by some dried clove characters with spicy cedar and peppered meat notes. Medium bodied, supple and elegant, the palate has a savoury flavour profile of plums, red liquorice, subtle clove, spicy cedar and some light pepper. Very polished tannins concluding with a medium length aftertaste.
