2016 Mr Riggs The Truant Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. Lifted aromatics of liquorice and black cherries are tinged with hints of graphite and black olive followed by some pepper end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate is littered with a combination of liquorice and blackpepper flavours underscored by some spicy black cherries and subtle graphite. Sturdy but fine grained tannins provide a touch of grip on the finish. Peppery aftertaste of liquorice, black cherries, graphite and light spicy scorched earth.
