2016 Mr Riggs The Gaffer Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated liquorice and blackberry aromas are followed by dark plum, a hint of mint and spicy vanillin cedar. Plump and juicy, flavours of dark plum, liquorice and blueberries fill the medium to full bodied palate. Lying beneath the succulent fruit is lightly toasted vanillin cedar and spicy pepper characters. Slightly dry and inky on the finish with grainy tannins and well balanced acidity. Solid length with a medium to long aftertaste.
