Impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense aromas of aniseed, black cherry and blackberry waft from the glass mixing with vanillin oak, earth and spicy pepper along the way. Rich and opulently textured flavours of liquorice, blackberry, black cherries and choc mint swamp the palate underpinned by vanillin oak, elements of scorched earth and pepper. Velvety tannins. Excellent power with a long sumptuous finish.
