Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. The nose emits aromas of black cherry and liquorice overlaid with smoky fennel and blackpepper notes. Full in body, juicy black cherry and liquorice flavours smother the palate with juicy dried meats, fennel and blackpepper ensuing. Savoury finish with sturdily built chewy tannins and fresh acidity. Medium to long black pepper infused aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, smoked meats, fennel and spice.
