2016 Monte Ronca Monte Calvarina Soave

Coming from the commune of Ronca in the heart of Garganega country, Monte Ronca is a creation of local specialist, Antonio Fattori, an acknowledged Soave-master.

Bright pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose shows good aromatic lift with scents of pears intermixing with dried honey and dried apple followed by some stony notes and light spice. Quite full and round in the mouth this beautifully textured Soave dishes up flavours of pears and dried honey over some citrus, stony characters and spice. Excellent concentration finishing dry with well balanced acidity and a long lightly spiced pear, dried honey and subtle wet stone aftertaste.
