2016 Montara Riesling

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Fresh lime notes merge into lemon butter and toast with hints of faint kerosene and spice as end notes. The palate is quite full and shows excellent concentration with flavours of ripe limes and citrus intermixing with orange and notions of mineral. Off dry finish with vibrant acidity and an aftertaste of ripe limes, citrus, orange and light mineral.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

An off-dry style, this has texture galore filling out the palate, mostly it's an ode to citrus with grapefruit pith and juiciness, home-made lemon-lime cordial and cleansing acidity. Sure it'll age but it's stunning now. Drink by 2025.
