2016 Montara Hill Block Single Vineyard Shiraz

Impressive inky black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted dark plum and liquorice aromas overlay vanillin cedar, fennel and blackpepper. Lashings of concentrated dark plum and liquorice fruit flood the mouth with an undercard of vanillin cedar, traces of fennel and pepper. Bright youthful finish with fine grained yet robust tannins. Long spicy aftertaste of dark plums, liquorice, vanillin cedar, subtle earth and pepper.
