2016 Menhir Salento No. Zero Negroamaro

Opaque black dark red core with a bright dark red hue. The nose evokes aromas of spicy dark cherries, liquorice and plums over vanillin cedar, earthy incense and spicy dried herb notes. Ripe and juicy the palate is filled with rich dark plum and liquorice flavours which are underpinned by incense infusions, earth and spicy dried herb nuances. Soft fleshy mid palate feel finishing with good freshness. Fine tannin structure with a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
