2016 Maude Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red core with a vibrant crimson purple hue. Subtle violet top notes are followed by ripe dark cherry and plum aromas with traces of anise and spicy cedar also evident. Light to medium bodied the palate is filled with succulent ripe dark cherry and plum flavours infused with anise that sit of some meatiness and spicy cedar characters. Slightly dryish finish with velvet smooth tannins. Good power with a medium to long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, plum, infusions of anise, a subtle meatiness and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
