2016 Lost Buoy Sea Floor Sangiovese

Displays excellent depth with an opaque dark red black core and a bright dark red hue. Spicy ripe dark cherry and plum scents are overlaid by vanillin cedar and earth. Medium bodied with an undercurrent of spicy earth running through the rich dark cherry and plum flavours, there’s also some spicy vanillin cedar and hint of dark chocolate present. Quite savoury with slightly dryish but fine grained tannins and bright acidity concluding with an aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, plum, earthy vanillin cedar and a hint of dark chocolate.
