A collaboration between Dr Loosen and Jim Barry wines. Brilliant pale straw colour with a gentle greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Intense pear, red apple and honeysuckle aromas are trailed by light quince and orange blossom notes. Light weight with a delicate spritz running through the red apple, lime juice and honeysuckle flavours finishing dry and fresh with a flinty mineral aspect. Zesty medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Other Reviews….
Mosel raised in the ‘Australian style’, from grapes grown on Loosen’s Erdener Treppchen (The Little Staircase of Erden) vineyard.
Mango, cumquat, sour apple, flowers and a little fresh mint. Quite fleshy and powerful, savoury and juicy, fine dusting of texture, fairly soft acidity, some zest and tang on a solid finish. It’s a bit chunky, but in a good way. Drink 2020-2027+
