Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Intense ripe blackcurrant and Christmas cake like scents intermix with vanillin cedar, subtle mocha and spice. Full bodied and opulently textured the palate is filled with blackcurrant, black plum and Christmas cake flavours which are quite sweetly fruited. Elements of vanillin oak and spice are also apparent. Silky smooth tannins with a long lusciously textured aftertaste. A rich large scaled Barossa cabernet that lacks some varietal definition.
